Well, I survived click here another family trip. It was crazy, as always. My siblings were on my nerves. We got lost a couple of times, and then there was that weird incident at that tourist trap.

I'm fried, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. We have some crazy memories.

My phone is officially silenced/turned off/put away. Emails can hold on until I get back. Social media can keep spinning. If you need me, leave a message on my answering machine/in a bottle/with the voicemail fairies. Otherwise, consider this your official notification/warning/reminder: I'm out of office/gone fishin'/living my best life and will be back eventually.

My Happy Place is Anywhere But Here

Sometimes, the best/ideal/perfect escape isn't a place/location/spot at all. It's a state of mind/feeling/perception. My happy place/moment/time is anywhere but here, a whimsical/fantastical/imaginary realm where stress/tension/worry melts away/into oblivion/like ice cream on a hot day.
